Don Bosco School, Barpeta Road, witnessed a dazzling display of creativity and enthusiasm today with their annual Fancy Dress Competition. Students from grades 3 to 10 enthusiastically participated, transforming themselves into a diverse range of characters. From prehistoric figures to pop icons, the competition showcased a vibrant tapestry of imagination.
The participants brought history and mythology to life, with portrayals of religious figures like Rama, Krishna, Radha, and Hanuman. The world of science found its place too, with students embodying scientists, spaceships, doctors, and more. Even the realm of entertainment was represented, with some participants channeling iconic movie characters like the ghost of Manjulika and the psycho beggar.
With a staggering 180 participants, the competition was a delightful whirlwind of activity. Despite the scorching heatwave pushing temperatures to 38 degrees Celsius, the students’ spirits remained high. They proudly donned their elaborate costumes and delivered captivating performances within the allotted time.
